Ryan McIlvain’s most recent novel is The Radicals, published in 2018. His debut novel, Elders, was long-listed for the Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize in 2013. His stories and essays have appeared in print and online in The Paris Review, The Rumpus, Tin House, Post Road, The Believer, Los Angeles Review of Books, and other venues. A former Stegner Fellow in Fiction at Stanford University, he lives with his family in Florida, where he teaches at the University of Tampa and is at work on a third novel.
